Buffalo Trace Antique Collection 2019

September 18, 2019

Today’s the day! For us whiskey fans, the season has officially begun — whiskey hunting season, that is. The announcement of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection is when it truly begins each year and we’ve got word on the bottle details for you. Expect our official reviews of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection 2019 to follow shortly.

Please note that although each bottle has a suggested retail price of $99, sadly, few if any will be sold at that price. Unless you happen to luck out on a retail store’s lottery, which could happen, the prices are likely to be MUCH higher. Make sure you run to your favorite retailer to be added to the lottery list ASAP. Bottles will be available in limited quantities starting in late September or early October. If you can’t find a bottle in your neck of the woods, make it a point to visit some great whiskey bars across the country. Aside from attending the larger whiskey fests in the country, it’s the best way get a taste and see what the fuss is about.

We wish you all a good whiskey hunting season!

Eagle Rare 17 Year Bourbon

This Kentucky Straight Bourbon was distilled in the spring of 2002, and was matured on the first floor of Warehouse P for 17 years. Like the 2018 release, this too is bottled at 101 proof.

George T. Stagg Bourbon

George T. Stagg is an uncut, unfiltered Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Due to many of the barrels having matured on the lower levels of the warehouses, this year’s edition is the lowest proof release of Stagg to date. However, it is still bottled at a healthy 116.9 proof.
